Indy is about 3 hours. Louisville 2 hours and both Nashville and St Louis are around 3

Took too long to figure out that we all need memory helpers! Between the jobs, the kids, the sports, etc….it was REALLY hit and miss. Mostly miss!

LOL! We made one of those stinking to-do lists for chores for just hubby and I. Being new parents fried our brains and basically we were double feeding the animals and such or forgetting to deal with the cat boxes and would find surprises as a result.

We used the lists great in the beginning, now it just hangs there ignored. I hate those to-do lists to, but need them oh, so badly.

Thanks Jenni! Want to check out Flylady. But lately when I sit down to try, I can’t. Feels like more time that I don’t have. I hate scheduling everything but while I have young kids with activities, a FT outside job, busy hubby and home…..guess that is the answer. I’ll just have to be sure to make it flexible scheduling and then I can do it. Flylady is going to be one thing to fit into that schedule.

You can do it! You will feel so much better once you have caught up on everything you need to do to make your house feel more liveable. Have you done flylady before? I do parts of it and am well familiar with living in C.H.A.O.S (can’t have anyone over syndrome…) Baby steps wills help you feel much more sane and know this; many of your momma friends are chronically in the same boat. I will take my spurts of organization over never seeing the light of day though.

Good luck Kim!! I struggle with it here too, esp with Doug gone. We have a couple versions of chore charts up on the walls for all of us, but it doesn’t do much good here. So if you figure it out, let me know. Have you ever checked out flylady.com? I wish I could implement her plan.
